We present a wireless gate control system that is ideal for Alzheimer’s day care centers, nursing homes, and assisted-living residences that house disoriented elderly people at risk of being lost.
Ti-Seguo uses small panel-mounted radio antennas, installed on the ceiling near entrances and exits, and wristband RFID TAG devices to monitor people at risk.
The system sends an alert to the care staff when a guest wearing the wristband approaches the guarded gate, signaling the danger of unaccompanied removal from the facility.

Wrist monitoring TAGs are equipped with a tear-resistant security strap, which can be applied and removed by staff using a special key for opening and closing.
